Allgemeine Informationen Japan Impact is the biggest convention focused on Japanese culture in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, attracting several thousand visitors each year to the EPFL campus (Lausanne, Switzerland). Unlike some similar events which present a large part of pop culture, Japan Impact has always been focused on the culture of the archipelago, and offers modern activities (cosplay contest, video games, anime screening...), traditional and popular music concerts, a broad range of traditional activities (Japanese cooking workshop, traditional tea ceremony, kimono workshop...) and much more. We also have professional exhibitors who sell their stock of manga, goodies, clothes and other objects related to Japan, as well as a space dedicated to young creators who have tables to exhibit and sell their own works. All this allows people from very different backgrounds to discover the many facets of Japanese culture, for more than 10 years now.
